FAQs

Our service is fully online and streamlined for families. You’ll first book a telehealth consultation with one of our Australian doctors, who will review your child’s sleep history, health background, and suitability for melatonin. If appropriate, a prescription will be provided and sent to our partner compounding pharmacy. From there, your child’s melatonin is prepared and shipped directly to your door. For those who have already had an initial consult, you can organise repeats through the platform.
-
In children, melatonin is the safest and most recommended option. However there are other options that include both prescription and non prescription medications / supplements.
-
Melatonin is as natural hormone your body produces that helps regulate one’s sleep cycle. It comes in tablets and liquid, purchased at a pharmacy with a prescription. It was previously sold in gummies through online retailers which has since been suspended.
-
We offer a tailored solution that can include melatonin liquid in different strengths and different flavours. We also make it as simple as possible whilst making sure you get the fairest price.
-
We charge $29 for an initial consult with any follow up consults being $19. We are currently running a promotion and offering free consultations, so spread the word! We provide repeat prescriptions for those on stable doses for free.
Compounded melatonin liquid starts at $74.99 for 2mg/ml, 100ml, which should last most people over 3 months.
-
No. Our service does not prescribe benzodiazepines These medications can carry increased side effect risks and require careful face-to-face monitoring. If a child has severe sleep issues not improving with these measures, we recommend referral to a paediatrician or sleep specialist for further assessment.
-
We are focused on patients aged between 2-18 years old. If you are older than 18 we still are able to discuss your sleep problems, but may need to refer you if there are concerns outside the scope of what we currently offer.
-
We ship to anywhere in Australia from Sydney. We do not ship outside of Australia.
-
The only product containing melatonin liquid in pharmacies is Voquily (1mg/mL). Many kids find it difficult to swallow due to its taste. It can also be a lot more expensive if needing higher doses; with large volumes being more difficult to swallow.
We offer a customised product with varying concentrations and in different flavours such as tutti-frutti, strawberry, unflavoured.
-
We currently only offer melatonin in a liquid form, however are looking at compounding gummies in the near future.
